The annual salary for this position is between $110,500 - $130,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

In This Role, You Will
- Administer and maintain Snowflake environments, ensuring security, availability, scalability, and optimal platform performance.
- Monitor and optimize Snowflake workloads, virtual warehouses, storage, and query performance to improve efficiency and control costs.
- Support data warehousing and ETL/ELT initiatives by enabling reliable data integration, transformation, and processing across multiple source systems.
- Implement and manage security controls, including user access, roles, privileges, network policies, and governance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues, support platform enhancements, and implement new Snowflake capabilities.

What You Need To Have To Be Considered
- 8 years of experience in Data Warehousing, Database Administration, or Data Platform Support.
- 4 years of hands-on Snowflake Administration experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Snowflake administration, including security, RBAC, virtual warehouses, resource monitors, streams, tasks, cloning, replication, and data sharing.
- Advanced SQL and PL/SQL programming skills with experience supporting large-scale data workloads.
- Experience with ETL/ELT technologies and enterprise scheduling/orchestration platforms.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support experience.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, compliance, disaster recovery, and business continuity practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- SnowPro Core Certification.
- SnowPro Advanced Certification (Administrator, Architect, or Data Engineer).
- Experience within the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance industry.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer Associate, or Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification.
- Oracle Database Administration certification.
- Experience supporting data platform migrations, modernization initiatives, and automation programs.
