Site Reliability Engineer

Cognizant is seeking a SRE engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure, AWS and GCP. This hybrid role requires proficiency in deploying Cloud resources and managing cloud services. The candidate will contribute to optimizing our cloud infrastructure and enhancing security measures.

In This Role, You Will

• Design and implement secure scalable solutions across Azure, GCP and AWS leveraging infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, ARM templates, Deployment Manager and CloudFormation to automate and optimize deployments.
• Automate scalable solutions using PowerShell and Python with hands on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure aligned access governance
• Build and maintain identity-aware front-end components using JavaScript React or Angular for portal and login experiences
  
  

What You’ll Need To Succeed (required Skills)

• At least five years of Azure, AWS or GCP experience along with CI/CD, DevOps and Kubernetes.
• Strong communication skills are essential as candidates must explain complex concepts to diverse audiences and provide clear documentation.
• A solid understanding of fundamental IT operations and ITIL principles is essential

Compensation: We are offering between $99,000 – 114,000

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
