Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features ensuring alignment with the Cards & Payments domain. Utilize the Ionic Capacitor and Ionic Framework to build high-performance mobile applications that are scalable and maintainable. Implement and manage Docker containers to streamline the development and deployment processes. Develop and maintain REST APIs to ensure seamless integration with backend services. Leverage the Combine Framework to handle asynchronous events and data streams efficiently. Apply design patterns to solve complex architectural problems and improve code quality. Use GIT for version control to manage code changes and collaborate with team members effectively. Integrate Swift Package Manager to manage dependencies and streamline the build process. Optimize networking libraries to improve application performance and reduce latency. Conduct unit testing using XCTest to ensure code quality and reliability. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain competitive and innovative. Work model: Hybrid Location: Richmond - VA We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 4 days a week in a client office in Richmond - VA. What you need to have to be considered: Possess strong expertise in Objective-C SWIFT UI and Ionic Capacitor with a proven track record in mobile app design and architecture. Demonstrate experience in the Cards & Payments domain understanding its unique challenges and requirements. Have proficiency in using Docker REST APIs and GIT for efficient development and deployment. Show capability in applying design patterns and using the Combine Framework for effective problem-solving. Exhibit knowledge of Swift Package Manager and networking libraries for optimized application performance. Experience in conducting unit testing with XCTest to ensure high-quality code. The annual salary for this position is between $68K – $125K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
