The annual salary for this position is between $ 81,337 to $ 163,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

- Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Design and optimize database solutions using MongoDB and SQL, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
- Write and execute unit tests using JUnit5, conduct code reviews, and follow best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, optimize system performance, mentor junior developers, and contribute to continuous improvement and Cards & Payments domain solutions.
- 6–9 years of experience with strong proficiency in MongoDB, SQL, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Microservices, and JUnit5.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively address complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with team members and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the Cards & Payments domain is a plus.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to learn, adapt to new technologies, and continuously improve development practices.
