Senior Java Developer (Onsite)

Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Java Developer(Onsite) with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of complex software solutions using Advanced Java and JavaScript to meet business requirements.
• Oversee the integration of systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and cross-platform functionality.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, efficient software architectures.
• Ensure application reliability and performance through thorough testing and debugging processes.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance and future development.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues to minimize disruption to business operations and enhance user experience.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate software quality and streamline development processes.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications.
• Utilize Unix systems for effective application deployment and management, ensuring optimal performance.
• Implement JSON and XML technologies for seamless data interchange and system integration.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software development and data management.
• Contribute to the company’s mission by delivering innovative solutions that enhance the Property and Casualty Insurance domain

• Strong proficiency in Advanced Java and JavaScript
