Senior AEM Developer (Remote)

As a Senior AEM Developer you will make an impact as the primary point of contact for all AEM domain-related queries and issues. You will be a valued member of the team and work collaboratively with management, team members and client. We are seeking a Lead Developer with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AEM ASSET Configuration AEM Assets and Java. Experience in the Cards & Payments domain is a plus. The role involves developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions that align with our companys goals and enhance user experience.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position, it will require you to be onsite as well as on call on the weekends. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of AEM ASSET Configuration to optimize digital asset management.
• Oversee the development and integration of AEM Assets to ensure seamless content delivery
• Provide technical expertise in Java to develop robust and scalable applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for software development
• Ensure the software solutions meet the highest quality standards and are delivered on time
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to maintain system performance
• Implement best practices in software development to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
• Mentor junior developers to foster a culture of learning and growth within the team.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all development activities.
  
  

Required Skills

• 6 years of relevant work experience
• Possess strong experience in AEM ASSET Configuration and AEM Assets.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Java programming for developing high-quality applications
• Have a good understanding of the Cards & Payments domain which is advantageous
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model with minimal supervision.
• Display strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies.

The annual salary for this position is between $60,000 – $100,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
