The annual salary for this position is between $53,477 – $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

- Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks from scratch using tools such as Playwright and Selenium
- Develop and execute automation scripts using Java and TypeScript, with strong debugging and problem‑solving skills
- Analyze complex business flows and translate them into effective functional and integration test scenarios
- Partner with development and architecture teams to review designs, apply testing and software design patterns, and identify quality risks early
- Create and communicate test metrics, reports, and quality insights, clearly highlighting risks and issues in a timely manner

What You Need To Have To Be Considered
- 5 years of experience in software development and/or quality engineering, with strong business and analytical skills
- Hands‑on experience with Java and TypeScript programming
- Proven expertise in test automation scripting, framework design, and advanced debugging
- Experience in designing and development Test Automation Framework from scratch using Playwright, Selenium.
- Experience in functional and integration testing within complex applications
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, standard testing principles, and best practices
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS
- Exposure to performance testing concepts and tools such as JMeter
- Ability to participate in architecture discussions and apply design patterns from a quality engineering perspective
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to raise quality concerns and influence outcomes
- A self‑motivated, proactive, and accountable mindset with ownership of deliverables
