You will be a valued member of the QA team and collaborate closely with Product Owners, developers, and key stakeholders to support high quality software delivery. In this role, you will: • Own and support release related testing activities to ensure smooth deployments • Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC • Develop, debug, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright • Design and execute manual test scenarios and test cases as needed • Define test strategies, create test plans, and estimate overall testing effort • Work model: Onsite At Cognizant, we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible, and we are here to support a healthy work life balance though our various wellbeing programs. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a Cognizant or client office in Fort Mill, South Carolina. What you need to have to be considered • 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, working within Agile environments • Strong expertise in writing, enhancing, and executing automated test scripts using Playwright • Hands on experience with TypeScript • Proven experience designing and executing manual test cases and test scenarios • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and TestNG, and build tools like Maven • Working knowledge of version control tools such as GitHub • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams These will help you stand out • Experience supporting complex release cycles in fast paced environments • Ability to balance automation and manual testing effectively • Strong analytical and debugging skills • Experience contributing to test strategy definition and quality best practices We're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
