Responsibilities
Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using Java Spring Boot and JavaScript to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and efficient software solutions.
Implement AWS cloud services to enhance application performance and reliability.
Optimize SQL queries and database structures to improve data retrieval and storage efficiency.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues to maintain system stability and performance.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
Ensure software solutions are secure scalable and maintainable by following industry standards and best practices.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and functionality.
Document software designs technical specifications and user guides for future reference and training.
Qualifications
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices and design patterns.
- Proficiency in MongoDB Database
- Experience in deploying microservices in On-Prem or Azure with Jenkins and GIT.
- Experience with Kafka messages.
- Familiarity with ReactJs and integration
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Tokens
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience in managing Offshore team
- Knowledge in Agile Process.
