The annual salary for this position is between $98,000 - $160,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and Vue.
- Build, deploy, and optimize AWS-backed microservices using Java and Python to ensure scalability, resilience, and strong performance.
- Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP-based services for enterprise-grade integrations.
- Lead end‑to‑end application development efforts, from design through production release.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables through unit testing (JUnit), code reviews, and defect prevention practices.
- Support production environments through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and release support.
- Deliver high-quality work within Agile / iterative delivery frameworks.

What You Need To Have To Be Considered
- Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with React, Vue, and Node.js.
- Experience with Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
- ORM experience with Hibernate, Entity Framework, or LINQ.
- Experience building and deploying applications on AWS.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated build processes.
- Experience with production-scale microservices in AWS environments.
- Familiarity with both REST and SOAP in large enterprise ecosystems.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
- Experience operating in Agile environments with cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and influence engineering decisions.
