Cognizant is a large IT Consulting Firm that leverages modern technologies to improve business operations. The Mapping Escalation Specialist is responsible for handling time critical and sensitive issues related to mapping operations. The Mapping Escalations Specialist should be trained in escalation protocol and be able to resolve difficult and complex issues in a timely manner. In addition to all core responsibilities of Mapping Data Technicians, the following are the additional responsibilities for Mapping Escalation Specialist. This role is 100% onsite in Bothell. Only local candidates will be considered.
Role Responsibilities
The hourly rate for this position is $21.63 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Role Responsibilities
- Resolve the highest priority mapping issues according to established SLA’s.
- Contribute to in-depth failure analysis to determine the root cause of problems or in correct edits.
- Document all problem analysis and issue resolution methods.
- Log feature requests and bugs to engineering teams as required.
- Strong written skills in order to submit reports in a professional and timely manner
- Knowledge of Elections processes and procedures on an election cycle basis
- A High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred
- 1-2 Years of GIS/Mapping experience
