About The Role

As a Senior Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and deploying robust solutions for healthcare platforms. You will be a valued member of the delivery team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality implementations that meet business objectives.

In This Role, You Will

• Translate functional specifications into detailed technical design documents.
• Develop solutions following industry best practices and perform thorough unit testing.
• Participate in system and integration testing and support user acceptance testing.
• Resolve application defects and implement system enhancements.
• Support deployment activities across staging and production environments for smooth releases.
• Collaborate with DBA, Sysadmin, and infrastructure teams to address performance and availability issues.
  
  

What You Need To Have To Be Considered

• Strong healthcare domain knowledge (Commercial – Individual/Group market segments).
• Good understanding of claims, provider contracts, and pricing arrangements.
• Hands-on development experience in .NET, SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Exposure to cloud solutions leveraging Azure, AWS, or other major platforms.
• Familiarity with Cognizant core products such as Facets, QNXT, and NetworX is preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to support QA, release management, and system maintenance activities.
  
  

Salary And Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $93K-$132K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
