About The Role

As an Experience Strategist you will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing design strategies that enhance user experiences across various platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive design systems and contribute to the company’s innovative approach in delivering exceptional digital solutions. Your expertise in design tools and methodologies will drive impactful visual branding and user interface designs.

In This Role, You Will

• Oversee the creation and management of design systems to ensure consistency and scalability in design projects.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on heuristic reviews to optimize user interfaces and improve usability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
• Utilize Figma and Adobe XD to design and prototype user interfaces ensuring they are visually appealing and functional.
• Develop responsive web designs that adapt seamlessly across different devices and screen sizes.
• Implement UI design patterns that enhance user interaction and engagement.
• Drive visual branding initiatives to establish a strong and recognizable brand identity across digital channels.
• Conduct creative design for websites and apps ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly.
• Apply visual design elements and fundamentals to create compelling and effective design solutions.
• Manage design system creation to streamline design processes and improve efficiency.
• Engage in production design activities to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet project specifications.
• Contribute to the company’s purpose by delivering innovative design solutions that positively impact society.
• Ensure all design outputs align with the company’s strategic vision and enhance its market presence.
  
  

Work model: Hybrid

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in New York - NY USA. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.

What You Need To Have To Be Considered

• Possess a strong background in production design and experience design POV with a proven track record in delivering successful design projects.
• Demonstrate expertise in design system management and creation ensuring consistency and scalability in design outputs.
• Have proficiency in Figma and Adobe XD with the ability to design and prototype user interfaces effectively.
• Exhibit knowledge in UI design patterns and responsive web design ensuring designs are user-centric and adaptable.
• Show competence in visual design elements and fundamentals contributing to impactful visual branding initiatives.
• Hold experience in heuristic review and creative design for websites and apps optimizing user experiences.
• Display proficiency in Adobe Photoshop enhancing design quality and creativity.

Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $110.500 – $135,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
