The annual salary for this position ranges from $68,422 to $131,500, depending on experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, subject to performance and applicable plan terms.

In This Role, You Will
- Design, build, and deploy large‑scale analytics and data engineering solutions on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (preferred) or Azure
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions, leading discussions with product and technical stakeholders as needed
- Develop applications using industry‑standard coding practices, including writing unit tests and meeting defined code coverage targets
- Ensure features are thoroughly tested, monitored, and successfully deployed to production environments
- Implement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions in alignment with client recommendations
- Document system designs and service specifications, and provide guidance to development teams on functional and technical documentation

What You Need To Have To Be Considered
- 6 years of hands‑on experience in Python development
- Strong experience with PySpark, SQL, advanced data queries, and Airflow pipelines
- Experience building analytics or data engineering solutions on cloud platforms (GCP or Azure)
- Hands‑on experience or solid understanding of designing large‑scale, high‑volume applications
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical solutions clearly
- Experience with Google BigQuery
- Knowledge of Scala
- Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI or Looker Studio
- Exposure to enterprise‑scale data platforms and production‑grade analytics systems
