Cognizant is seeking an Azure Databricks Admin for a full-time remote opportunity. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US. Cognizant will not offer visa sponsorship for this role now or anytime in the future.
Responsibilities:
Design & implement the ‘Databricks delta sharing’ model across the board + the affiliates!
Deploy Databricks Workspaces
Onboard new applications to Databricks and help application teams to migrate.
Build & Configure Unity Catalogs
Troubleshoot & fix any access issues for App teams to Databricks workspaces.
Designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and workflows.
Creating and maintaining data models and ensuring data quality.
Troubleshoot & Fix Azure Kubernetes Services issues with Pods, Nodes, Quotas, etc.
Deploy Azure NSGs, Log Analytics Workspaces, Key Vaults, etc.
Exposure on Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Postgres.
Work closely with Microsoft on upcoming features in Azure.
Qualifications:
5 plus years of hands-on experience with Azure Databricks Administration.
6 years of experience with AKS
3 plus years of experience with Azure Administration.
The salary range for this role is between $114,000 and $133,000 depending on skills and qualifications of the candidate. Applications will be accepted till 5/25/2026.
