Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Migration Leadership
- Lead discovery, assessment, sizing, dependency mapping, and migration planning activities.
- Design migration waves, pilot deployments, cutover strategies, rollback procedures, and transition plans.
- Deploy:
- AWS WorkSpaces Personal (Persistent)
- AWS WorkSpaces Pools (Non-Persistent)
- Design desktop pools based on workload personas and business requirements.
- Define scaling, capacity planning, high availability, and disaster recovery architecture.
- Establish profile management and user experience optimization strategies.
- Design user profile persistence strategies using:
- FSLogix
- User Profile Disks
- Profile Containers
- Amazon FSx
- App Layering technologies
- Recommend appropriate desktop delivery model:
- Persistent Desktops
- Non-Persistent Desktops
- Hybrid Workspaces
- Optimize application delivery, user personalization, and data management.
- Establish enterprise Golden Image strategy.
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules for:
- AWS WorkSpaces
- VPC
- IAM
- Build automated CI/CD pipelines using:
- Azure DevOps
- GitHub Actions
- Jenkins
- AWS CodePipeline
- Configure automated image build and deployment pipelines.
- Enable infrastructure deployment through GitOps methodologies.
- Automate compliance validation, testing, and release approvals.
- Integrate Infrastructure as Code with enterprise release management processes.

- The Salary for this position will be 160,000 to 175,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
- This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
