The annual salary for this position is between $53,477 to 92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

In This Role, You Will
- Define automation strategies and select appropriate tools, frameworks, and approaches aligned with project needs
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks, with a strong focus on Java‑based solutions
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality and faster releases
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to implement shift‑left testing practices
- Build reusable automation components, standards, and best practices to improve efficiency and scalability
- Implement automation reporting, dashboards, and quality metrics to provide actionable insights
- Provide technical input and guidance on emerging solutions, including GenAI‑assisted test automation

What You Need To Have To Be Considered
- Hands‑on experience with test automation using Java and/or JavaScript‑based frameworks
- Strong expertise in Selenium and Rest Assured for UI and API automation
- Solid experience with API automation and backend validation
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, including tools such as Jenkins
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to design effective automation solutions
- Experience or exposure to IIB, API, and APIC technologies
- Experience contributing to automation strategy and framework design at an enterprise scale
- Familiarity with automation reporting tools and quality metrics implementation
- Exposure to or interest in GenAI‑based testing and automation solutions
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within agile or DevOps environments
