About the Role
As a Sr. Functional Architect, you will make an impact by designing and implementing Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll solutions that optimize payroll processes and ensure compliance. You will be a valued member of Cognizant’s Oracle HCM Practice team and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders, IT teams, and business leaders to deliver innovative payroll solutions aligned with organizational goals.
In this role, you will
- Design and implement Oracle Cloud HCM-Payroll solutions to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Provide expert guidance on payroll processing, employee setup, and compliance standards.
- Oversee the integration of Oracle Cloud HCM-Payroll with other systems to ensure seamless data flow.
- Lead system integration efforts to ensure seamless data flow between Oracle Cloud HCM-Payroll and other platforms.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and testing to validate solutions and educate stakeholders.
What you need to succeed (Required skills)
- Deep expertise in Oracle Cloud HCM-Payroll functionalities and configurations.
- Proven track record of delivering successful Oracle Cloud HCM-Payroll implementations.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and employee setup.
- Proven ability to analyze and optimize payroll systems for performance and compliance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for complex payroll challenges.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $138,000- 162,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
