Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Solutions Architect with 13 to 15 years of experience to diverse team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure Monitor Azure Data Lake Store Azure Key Vault Azure DevOps Azure Event Hub Databricks SQL Databricks Workflows and PySpark. Experience in Investment Banking Operations and Investment Banking & Brokerage is a plus. This is an onsite work model with day shifts and no travel required.
Responsibilities- Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions using Azure technologies.
- Coordinate the development and deployment of data solutions applying Azure Data Lake Store and Azure Key Vault.
- Guide in Azure Monitor to ensure the reliability and performance of cloud services.
- Implement and lead CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline development processes.
- Use Azure Event Hub for real-time data ingestion and processing.
- Develop and optimize data workflows using Databricks Workflows and Databricks SQL.
- Apply PySpark for large-scale data processing and analytics.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to feed a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data solutions to improve efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and direction in the adoption of new technologies and standard processes.
- Give to the overall architecture strategy and roadmap to align with business goals.
- Possess deep technical skills in Azure Monitor Azure Data Lake Store Azure Key Vault Azure DevOps Azure Event Hub Databricks SQL Databricks Workflows and PySpark.
- Demonstrate experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.
- Have a deep understanding of data security and compliance requirements.
- Show proficiency in developing and optimizing data workflows.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Have superb communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in Investment Banking Operations and Investment Banking & Brokerage is a plus.
The annual salary for this position is ($137,500 - $161,500) depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
