Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the integration of Docker and Kubernetes for efficient deployment and scaling of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components and alignment with business goals.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in coding testing and deployment to enhance software quality and performance.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation of applications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing development and future enhancements.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable plans.
- Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor application performance and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience.
- Possess a strong foundation in Java 11 Java 8 and Core Java with proven experience in developing scalable applications.
- Demonstrate expertise in JavaScript and its frameworks to enhance front-end development capabilities.
- Exhibit proficiency in using Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications.
- Have a solid understanding of Spring Boot for building robust and efficient microservices.
- Show experience in the Payer domain with the ability to apply domain knowledge to technical solutions.
- Display excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $60,000 – $93,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
