As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer with at least 8 years of experience, you will make an impact by designing and developing scalable, high-performance applications and microservices using modern technologies.
You will be a valued member of the Technology & Engineering team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including cloud architects, DevOps engineers, and front-end developers.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain web applications Java/ J2EE technology along with Spring Framework and Spring Boot and related technologies.
- Design and implement user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability across the team.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability by applying best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues and improve performance.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment and maintenance.

What you need to have to be considered:
- Required minimum 8 Yrs of overall experience in Java/ J2EE technology along with Spring Framework and Spring Boot, react/Angular, Reactive programming Experience in developing API Development and Microservices Web Development using Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
- Developer must have 7 Yrs to 10 Yrs working experience in Java 11 or Java 17
- Developer must have work experience in Java Reactive Programming
- Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services to improve application functionality.
- Utilize Hibernate for efficient database management and data retrieval.
- Ensure the integration of REST APIs for seamless communication between different software components.
These will help you stand out:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of cloud-native application development and serverless architecture.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $68,422- $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
