Qualifications: Prior experience as a Prompt Engineer or with fine-tuning/LLM orchestration · Strong understanding of prompt engineering techniques (zero/few-shot, CoT, ReAct, instruction tuning) · Familiarity with models like: · GPT-4 / GPT-3.5 · LLaMA, Mistral, Mixtral · Excellent written communication and experimentation mindset Responsibilities: · Prompt Engineer for LLMs | Optimize Prompts for Accuracy, Clarity & Performance · The goal is to improve output quality, reduce hallucinations, ensure consistency, and enhance usability across various tasks (e.g., summarization, Q&A, classification, generation, etc.) · If you’re an expert at manipulating LLM behavior through prompt design, understand few-shot vs · zero-shot, chain-of-thought prompting, and have experience iterating with models like GPT-4, Claude, Groq, or LLaMA/Mistral, this project is for you Salary and Other Compensation: This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
