About the Role
As a Functional Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Advisory at the Senior Consulting Manager level, you will lead enterprise-scale SAP EAM transformations. This role requires strong consulting acumen, deep technical expertise, and the ability to engage senior stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant, and innovative asset management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and implementation of SAP EAM solutions for large enterprises.
- Define scalable asset management architectures ensuring alignment with reliability goals and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and validate Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) and Technical Design Documents (TDDs) for advanced maintenance and reliability scenarios.
- Provide solutioning for complex asset management operations, leveraging best practices and emerging technologies.
- Conduct workshops with business users to gather requirements, validate solutions, and ensure strategic alignment.
- Manage EAM implementation teams, driving delivery excellence and adherence to governance frameworks.
- Oversee testing cycles, defect resolution, and performance optimization for asset management solutions.
- Advise on best practices for asset reliability, digital transformation, and IoT integration.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, security standards, and enterprise audit requirements.
What You Must Have to Be Considered
- 12–16 years of hands-on experience in SAP EAM with proven expertise in asset lifecycle management and maintenance strategies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Preventive Maintenance, Work Order Management, Spare Parts Planning, and integration with MM and PM modules.
- Strong track record of delivering complex enterprise solutions in global consulting environments.
- In-depth understanding of compliance, safety regulations, and audit standards.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in advisory roles within top-tier consulting firms.
- Exposure to IoT-enabled asset management and predictive maintenance technologies.
- SAP certification in EAM or related modules.
Travel Requirements
- Up to 50% travel may be required based on client needs.
Work Authorization
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Compensation & Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $138,000 – $158,000 USD annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program.
