Cognitive Solutions LLC is a premier neuropsychological and forensic psychology practice serving the DC metro region. We are seeking a licensed, doctoral-level Neuropsychologist to join our growing contractor network, conducting clinical and forensic evaluations for court-referred, county, and private patients.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological evaluations for clinical and forensic referrals
· Administer, score, and interpret standardized neuropsychological test batteries
· Complete capacity evaluations including guardianship, conservatorship, and testamentary capacity assessments
· Perform PTSD and TBI assessments for forensic and clinical populations
· Prepare detailed, court-ready psychological reports with findings and recommendations
· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of forensic and clinical specialists
· Provide expert witness testimony as needed
Qualifications
· Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology
· Active, unrestricted license to practice psychology in both Virginia and Maryland (required)
· 2-3 years of neuropsychological evaluation experience preferred
· Experience with forensic evaluations and court-referred cases strongly preferred
· Proficiency with standardized test batteries (WAIS, WMS, RBANS, PAI, MMPI, etc.)
· Familiarity with capacity evaluations and relevant legal standards
· Strong written communication skills; ability to produce concise, defensible reports
