IT Operations Analyst - Remote (WFH)

Position Overview:

Cognitive is seeking a detail-oriented IT Operations Analystto support the DoD Defense Health Agency TRICARE Fifth Generation Contract (“T-5”) supporting TriWest Healthcare Alliance. In this role, you’ll be responsible for consolidating, analyzing, and reporting data from multiple work streams across the program. Your work will directly inform leadership decision-making, performance tracking, and contract reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage advanced features within Jira and ServiceNow to extract, transform, and manage data for reporting and identification of process improvement initiatives
• Aggregate data and reports from various program teams into a unified reporting structure
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and trends to provide actionable insights
• Develop and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent, accurate data reporting
• Identify gaps in data collection or reporting processes and propose solutions
• Support ad-hoc data requests and reporting needs for program leadership
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Computer Science, or related field
• 2–4 years of experience in a data analysis or reporting role, preferably within healthcare or government contracts
• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, principles and practices
• Demonstrated ability to gather and synthesize data from Jira and ServiceNow to generate comprehensive reports and dashboards
• Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Experience working with large datasets and cross-functional teams
• Ability to communicate complex data in a clear, concise manner
  
  
  

Preferred:

• Familiarity with TriCare or VA-related programs
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
