Hiring: Kubernetes Engineer (Platform & Governance)

We re hiring a Kubernetes Engineer for a platform-centric role focused on cluster governance, observability, and environment assessment in AWS.
This is NOT an application development role.

Location: Riverwoods, IL (Chicago area)
Work Mode: Onsite 3 days/week (mandatory)
Duration: 12 Months Contract

Required Skills

Kubernetes (AWS EKS preferred)
Cluster-level governance (RBAC, Network Policies, Admission Controllers)
AWS cloud experience
Multi-cluster Kubernetes environments
Observability: Prometheus, Grafana
Kubernetes security & standards (CIS Benchmarks)
Kubernetes & cloud resource usage assessment
Python scripting

Nice to Have

OpenShift
EKS Fargate / ECS
Service Mesh (Istio)
Experience in regulated or large enterprise environments

Onsite presence is mandatory 3 days/week in Riverwoods, IL
