About the Role
A highly regarded real estate investment manager is seeking an ambitious and analytically minded Commercial Asset Management Analyst to join its growing asset management team.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a diverse commercial real estate portfolio while working alongside experienced investment, asset management, and operational professionals. The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring asset performance, supporting business plan execution, evaluating investment opportunities, and helping maximise value across a portfolio of institutional-quality assets.
The position offers broad exposure across asset management, leasing, valuation, capital planning, acquisitions, and dispositions, making it an ideal opportunity for an individual looking to develop a long-term career within real estate investment and asset management.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the preparation and execution of property business plans, operating budgets, and capital expenditure programmes.
• Monitor asset performance against business plans and provide recommendations to enhance value and returns.
• Assist with leasing strategy, lease analysis, and evaluation of tenant proposals.
• Conduct market research and property-level analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
• Perform financial modelling, asset valuations, and investment return analyses.
• Support refinancing, hold-sell evaluations, and other strategic asset management initiatives.
• Work closely with joint venture partners, property managers, leasing teams, and external advisers.
• Assist with acquisition due diligence and disposition processes.
• Review development projects, capital programmes, and funding requests.
• Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reporting materials for senior stakeholders.
The Person
You will hold a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline and possess 1-3 years of experience within real estate investment, asset management, acquisitions, valuation, finance, or a related field.
Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities are essential, together with advanced Excel skills and experience evaluating commercial real estate investments. Exposure to ARGUS and cashflow modelling would be highly advantageous.
The successful candidate will be intellectually curious, commercially aware, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in commercial real estate investing are essential.
