Essential Job Duties:
- Takes orders, provides service, and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answers pertinent questions about drink items.
- Clear all tableware from tables and bar after service.
- Cleans all glassware and dishes, including ashtrays, and distributes.
- Stocks, restocks, and rotate supplies.
- Prepares garnishes for bar use. Prepares snack trays.
- Maintains all documents necessary to accurately account for resident and guest charges.
- Assists supervisor with inventory of supplies.
- Assists in maintaining a high level of customer service for our residents and their guests.
- Maintains safe and sanitary conditions in work area.
- Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.
- Completes all assigned cleaning tasks.
- Inform supervisor of equipment and supply needs.
- Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintains workstation and equipment in a safe and organized manner.
- Experience bartending in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining experience preferred.
- Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor, and peers. Requires courtesy, tact and graciousness.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have the ability to read, write and speak English effectively, using proper speech and grammar. Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
- Proficient in MS Office and various software operations.
