What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Support Technician position at Cogent Technology Solutions, Inc.?

You have:
- Education or expericence implementing and supporting Windows PCs
- Experience scripting or otherwise automating routine processes
- Knowledge of and experience with a variety of desktop software including Microsoft Office, Email clients, connecting PCs with static or DHCP network connections, an understanding of DNS, and understanding of file shares and connecting computers to those shares, setting up local printers and connecting to printers on print servers, and other Windows PC applications and services
- A working understanding of the role of firewalls, routers, switches, and other networking fundamentals
- Reliable Transportation, live within 40 miles of Cadillac Michigan and be available for in-person work 3-5 days per week in the Cadillac area.
