Our client, as a certified True32 Custom Cabinetry Manufacturer has served the Lowcountry for 20 years with the ability to design, engineer, manufacture, deliver, and install custom cabinetry in residential homes and condos. Our cabinets are not semi-custom or stock cabinets. Instead, our team provides cabinetry in any width or depth required for the application in increments of 32mm, from which the name True32 is derived. We offer hundreds of door styles and configurations, as well as thousands of finish combinations. HWC Custom Cabinetry produces fine European-style cabinetry that balances form and function. Our showroom and manufacturing facility is in N. Charleston, and our clients are invited to tour the facility where their cabinets are produced by skilled team members utilizing the latest technology in software and equipment.
We seek to add an experienced Kitchen and Bath Cabinetry Designer to our team. This role requires a unique skillset. The desired Designer will possess exceptional communication and client relation skills and the ability to balance the artistry of creative design with the technical abilities necessary to render drawings for final engineering, manufacturing, and installation.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with clients to discuss their cabinetry design requirements, preferences, and budget. Clients include homeowners, interior designers, builders, architects, and contractors.
- Manage the relationships with clients from initial contact through the design, manufacturing, and installation process.
- Develop pricing and material estimates and proposals and finalize contracts.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on design styles, materials, and finishes, serving as a liaison between the client and HWC engineering.
- Present design and proposals to clients, incorporating requested modifications.
- Create detailed, executable drawings for both the client and HWC engineering, leading to successful cabinetry manufacturing and installation for each project.
- Effectively work with a team, including the ability to collaborate with a drafter, engineer, production, or installation team members.
- Research and stay current on industry trends and practices, and product / material availability.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, design specifications, and project details, while keeping the project up to date in internal project management tools.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships and solicit prospective clients.
