We currently have a role available for a Pharma Purification Chemist.

Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Purify organic samples using normal-phase and reversed-phase chromatography on milligram to multi-gram scale.
• Utilize LC-MS systems to identify collection fractions.
• Develop an appropriate purification method for unique mixtures.
• Communicate with synthetic chemists regarding purification requirements and issues.
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive lab.

Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

• BS - Chemistry or related field with 1-3 years of industry experience OR MS-Chemistry with 0-1 year of industry experience (preferably pharma).
• Familiarity with Agilent HPLCs and ChemStation software would be helpful.
• Experience using Teledyne ISCO chromatography systems preferred.
• Preparative experience purifying small molecule organics would also be preferred.
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
• Works well both as a team and as an individual.
• Demonstration of excellent team player skills, very strong attention to detail, very strong problem-solving skills, a high level of learning agility, and the ability to work across functions. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the leadership and communication skills necessary to operate effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and an adaptable approach to goal delivery.
