We currently have a role available for an Entry-level Pharma Biochemist.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing laboratory solutions and reagents.
- Handling and processing biological specimens (tissues & fluids).
- Handling sample preparation, assays, buffer preparation and tissue homogenizations independently.
- Accurate usage of pipettes (manual and auto) as well as other laboratory equipment, such as pH meter, balances, etc.
Job requirements include, but are not limited to:
- BS - Biochemistry, Chemistry or related field with 0-2 years of industry experience (preferably pharma). Academic research and/or internship experience would be considered.
- Knowledge of common lab instrumentation (HPLC, LC-MS, etc.) would be a plus.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written. Ability to communicate issues as they occur.
- Works well both as a team and as an individual.
- Strong safety focus and willingness to assist with general lab housekeeping.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
- Ability and willingness to adapt to changing project needs and timelines.
