We’re hiring an Electro- Mechanical Test Engineer to join our engineering and production team focused on advanced cooling and thermal management systems, including compressor-based chillers and liquid cooling products. These systems support precision environments in industries such as semiconductors and medical technology.
Ideal candidates are proactive problem solvers with both electrical and mechanical capability, comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support on the production floor by diagnosing and resolving electrical, control, or instrumentation issues.
- Design and develop electro-mechanical test setups and fixtures for acceptance testing of finished units and electrical subassemblies.
- Build and maintain automated or semi-automated test equipment and create testing procedures that ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency.
- Implement automated test data collection processes and maintain test databases for ongoing process improvement.
- Support verification, qualification, and reliability testing — including equipment setup, sensor selection, and calibration.
- Create and maintain calibration procedures for instruments like flow meters, pressure sensors, and temperature controllers.
- Develop standardized wiring and crimping programs that comply with IPC‑620 or similar industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electro‑Mechanical Engineering.
- 7–10 years of hands-on experience involving design, testing, and electrical troubleshooting within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Deep knowledge of electrical safety codes and standards (NEC, UL, etc.).
- Strong working experience in PLC programming (Ladder Logic) and control systems with PID loops.
- Practical exposure to LabVIEW for automation and data acquisition.
- Experience with instrumentation calibration, test setups, and measurement devices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access for documentation and data analysis.
- Familiarity with wiring and crimping standards (IPC‑620B) is a plus.
- Bonus proficiency in Ethernet MODBUS, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools.
- High initiative, strong communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
