Role: ETL Data Engineer - State client exp Must - Healthcare
Location: Austin, TX – Hybrid role.
Responsibilities
· Lead technical development within an Agile team.
· Acquire and integrate data from multiple data sources.
· Develop complex SQL scripts (Oracle/Snowflake) for dimensional models.
· Build and automate ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica PowerCenter/IICS.
· Develop views, materialized views, and transformation logic.
· Validate SQL, ETL pipelines, and database objects.
· Create automated testing/validation processes.
· Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, planning, demos).
· Work closely with Architects and Data Engineering teams.
· Develop UI mockups and validate with customers.
· Troubleshoot technical issues across the project team.
· Produce and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and specifications.
· Support tool configuration and implementation.
· Participate in requirement gathering and design sessions.
· Analyze new requirements and propose enhancements.
· Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
· 8 years — Informatica PowerCenter/IICS ETL development (workflows, mappings).
· 8 years — Data acquisition from Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, PDF for Tableau.
· 8 years — Complex SQL development in Oracle and/or Snowflake.
· 8 years — Systems analyst experience on analytics or data warehouse projects.
· 8 years — Technical writing, diagramming (Visio/Erwin), MS Office, MS Project.
· 8 years — Experience delivering enterprise software platforms.
· 8 years — Ability to write efficient, testable, high-quality code.
Preferred Skills
· 6 years — Strong communication skills.
· 6 years — Ability to manage priorities and multitask effectively.
· 4 years — Agile sprint team experience.
· 4 years — Understanding of security principles (healthcare data).
· 4 years — BI/performance metrics visualization experience.
