The Loan Operations Specialist acts as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners to maintain smooth, efficient loan operations.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Review approved loan packages for completeness and accuracy.
- Verify required documents, ensure proper signatures, maintain digital and physical loan files, and track outstanding items.
- Perform post-closing audits, identify discrepancies and resolve errors to maintain data integrity.
- Works directly with Lender’s, affiliates, and other departments to solve problems, answers questions and provide superior customer service
- Assist loan officers with answering questions and obtaining documentation
- Ensure all procedures adhere with company policies and government regulations
- Review all terms and conditions of loan documentation.
- Cross-train on other department positions in the office by providing backup to other positions as the workload demands.
- Understand loan documentation, document recording and title policy review
- Loan servicing, payment processing and dispute research
- Ensures BSA compliance by reading and being familiar with the BSA/AML program/policy; following all BSA/AML/OFAC policies and procedures; and completing all BSA/AML/OFAC related online courses.
- Performs other related duties as requested or assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year experience in loan operations, 2 years preferred
