Responsibilities
Project Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects, and general contractors (GCs) to determine project specifications and ensure all project requirements are met.

Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with external vendors and subcontractors, securing favorable terms and managing relationships throughout the project.

Resource Management: Determine and allocate the necessary resources (manpower, equipment, materials) from start to finish, ensuring alignment with budgetary limitations.

Construction Planning: Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are consistently met.

Material Procurement: Acquire equipment and materials, monitor inventory levels, and address any shortages or inadequacies promptly.

Subcontractor Coordination: Hire and manage subcontractors, ensuring they understand their responsibilities and deliver quality work on schedule.

Field Crew Monitoring: Oversee the work of field crews to ensure it meets quality standards and project deadlines.

Progress Evaluation: Regularly evaluate project progress, preparing detailed reports to be shared with GCs and clients.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards, reporting and addressing any issues to maintain a safe work environment.

Experience Required

  • 5 Years of proven commercial construction project management
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Project and Procore; experience with Sage and Podio is a plus
  • Construction Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles
  • Safety Standards: Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards; OSHA certifications are an advantage
  • Communication: Outstanding communication and negotiation skills. Bi-Lingual in Spanish is a plus!
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Leadership: A team player with strong leadership capabilities
  • Certifications: PMP or equivalent certification is a plus. OSHA

Salary : $95,000 - $115,000
