Job Description
We are seeking dynamic and innovative Mechanical Engineering Intern for our San Diego office full-time during the summer months of 2026. This is a great opportunity to learn more about your chosen field! The ideal candidate will be a student who wishes to increase their knowledge of commercial, institutional, and industrial structures, learn about computer analysis software systems, and work in a professional fast-paced environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).
- Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities).
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel preferred.
- Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in BSME or BS Architectural Engineering with mechanical emphasis
- Three years of required courses completed towards an undergraduate mechanical engineering degree.
- Experience with architectural design and execution.
- Experience working with AutoCAD and/or REVIT (preferred).
- Previous construction and/or customer service experience (preferred).
- EIT (preferred).
Expected hourly rate: $24.00 - $28.00
