What are the responsibilities and job description for the CLINIC PATIENT REGISTRATION - INDY CLINIC position at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center Inc?
JOB DUTIES:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the department
- Maintain records, logs, and databases
- Assure proper stock and inventory of the department
- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA Privacy and Security Regulations
Patient Registration assumes other responsibilities as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Analytical ability to apply criteria and evaluate information to make decisions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills in teaming with patients, medical staff, and the public
- Detail-oriented with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Skill in greeting patients and answering the telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; familiar with electronic medical health care record systems
- . Ability to move, position self, consistently operate various types of equipment, able to detect/observe/identify details at close or distant range with or without accommodations, as well as exerting up to 20 pounds occasionally, and or 10 pounds of force frequently, or negligible constantly. Walking or standing to a significant degree, or sitting constantly, and pushing/pulling controls
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- H.S. Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent work experience in field, required
- BLS, preferred
