Job Overview
Join our team as a Cafe Team Member and become a part of Coffee4All as we introduce our cafe to the community. We are looking for outgoing, friendly people who desire to provide high quality customer service and the very best in our coffee drinks, teas, smoothies and food. Job duties include taking customer orders, preparing various beverages such as coffee drinks, teas, smoothies in addition to preparing food orders, prepping food, and other duties as assigned as needed to keep our cafe clean and safe. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food service skills while being part of a dynamic team dedicated to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and care
• Operate our POS system efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and order processing
• Manage food safety standards by following proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation procedures (training will be provided)
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, equipment, and seating areas
• Assist with food preparation tasks to ensure timely service during busy periods
• Handle cash register operations accurately, including cashiering and basic retail math calculations
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product levels
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations and a positive customer experience

Qualifications

• Previous barista or coffee experience is preferred however, not necessary as training will be provided. Familiarity with food service operations is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions accurately
• Prior experience in the food industry or retail environment is beneficial but not required
• Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks associated with café work

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
