What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Prep/Busser position at Coffee Notes?
We are looking for someone to help with food prep and bussing for a coffee shop in downtown Hilo. Ideal candidate has kitchen experience but will train the right person. Great customer service and dependability are a must.
Duties include, but are not limited to cleaning dishes, bussing and cleaning tables, running orders to tables, cleaning, food preparation, and assisting cooks and baristas.
Opportunities for advancement exist.
Must be friendly, positive and hard working.
8 to 12 hours per week.
Shifts:
Monday 8am -11am
Friday 8am-11am
Some Saturdays 8am-12pm
Sundays 11am-1pm
Tips are pooled. We opened in June 2025. Employees enjoy free drinks, a meal each shift, and free climbing at the gym next door.
