Vietnamese Coffee Barista – Coffee Heist
Location: MainPlace Mall, Santa Ana, CA
Job Type: Full-Time & Part-Time
About Coffee Heist:
At Coffee Heist, we bring the soul of Vietnamese coffee to life.
We specialize in authentic Vietnamese Arabica and Robusta coffee imported from Vietnam, along with handcrafted espresso drinks, matcha, smoothies, and fruit teas. Our mission is to share Vietnamese coffee culture while growing toward becoming our own specialty coffee roastery.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare coffee, Vietnamese coffee, matcha, smoothies, and fruit teas to Coffee Heist standards.
- Greet customers, recommend drinks, and provide outstanding customer service.
- Operate the POS system and handle transactions accurately.
- Wash dishes, clean equipment, restock supplies, and assist with opening and closing duties.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 17 years old.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Barista or customer service experience is preferred but not required—paid training is provided.
- Passion for coffee and willingness to learn.
- Friendly, outgoing, and detail-oriented.
- Food Handler Certificate preferred.
- Ability to speak Vietnamese and/or Spanish is highly preferred.
- Weekday availability is highly preferred.
Pay & Benefits:
- Training: $16.00/hour (2 weeks)
- Starting Pay: $17.00/hour
