What are the responsibilities and job description for the Specialty Coffee Shift Lead / Barista position at Coffee Enlightenment?
Coffee Enlightenment is looking for a reliable, hands-on Shift Lead to help lead the team while actively working alongside them.
You will be behind the bar, serving customers, preparing drinks, restocking, cleaning, solving problems, and stepping in wherever the team needs support.
We focus on human connection, operational precision, and awareness of the space. Our baristas are hosts, guides, and ambassadors for specialty coffee.
Responsibilities
Lead the team during assigned shifts.
Work alongside baristas during daily operations.
Prepare drinks consistently to our standards.
Create a welcoming customer experience.
Keep the shop clean, organized, stocked, and ready.
Support and guide other baristas.
Take ownership and act when something needs attention.
What we’re looking for
Barista or coffee shop experience preferred.
Leadership experience preferred.
Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
Friendly and comfortable with customers.
Strong attention to detail.
Willing to learn and grow in specialty coffee.
Pay: $12.50 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
