Job Summary
Coffee County Bank is seeking a dynamic and community-oriented Marketing / Event Coordinator to lead and support our marketing initiatives. The Coordinator will play a key role in collaborating with the CEO and Marketing Consultant to execute our 300-point marketing strategy, managing sponsorships, and enhancing the bank’s visibility and reputation in the community.
Duties
- Represent Coffee County Bank at community events and sponsorship activities.
- Manage event logistics including setup, breakdown, and on-site engagement.
- Ensure brand consistency and professionalism at all public-facing events.
- Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, nonprofits, and event coordinators.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for community involvement and sponsorships.
- Serve as a liaison between the bank and community partners.
- Take ownership of the bank’s 300-point marketing strategy, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
- Track progress and provide regular updates to leadership.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
- Work closely with Community Bank Marketing Consultants to align strategies and campaigns.
- Coordinate meetings, share insights, and implement consultant recommendations.
- Develop and propose new ideas to enhance the bank’s marketing presence.
- Collaborate with Consultant to develop content for social media, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Monitor marketing trends and competitor activity to identify improvement opportunities.
Education, Experience, and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, event planning, or community relations preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends for events.
- Passion for community involvement and local business development.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Standing on feet for long periods of time.
- Ability to see and hear within normal ranges, with or without reasonable accommodation, to effectively perform essential job functions.
- Capability of getting to and from event locations with marketing gear.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
