Established in 1976, COE Press Equipment designs and manufactures a complete line of premiere coil handling and servo roll feed equipment from stand-alone roll feeds, straighteners, reels, cradles and air feeds to complete integrated feed lines and cut-to-length systems.

THE IT DEVELOPER WILL:



  • Meet with business teams to determine project needs and requirements.

  • Analyze and interpret business requirements to design, develop, and implement software-based solutions.

  • Review, refactor, and maintain existing code to improve performance and maintainability.

  • Propose and implement database schema changes as required.

  • Develop applications using OpenEdge ABL, Telerik .NET controls, and/or C#.

  • Work within established project management processes while identifying opportunities for process improvement.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and systems.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects in a timely manner.

  • Stay current with advancements in programming tools, frameworks, and best practices.


 


REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience.

  • 5–7 years of experience with OpenEdge ABL (OpenEdge 4GL), Telerik .NET controls, or C#.

  • Strong time and project management skills.

  • Proficiency with Unix/Linux operating systems.

  • Experience using and working with object-oriented programming structures.

  • Knowledge of XML and JSON data formats.

  • Ability to parse and manipulate data stored in various formats.

  • Knowledge of web services (REST) preferred.

  • Power BI experience a plus.
