Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Servers to be part of our front-of-house team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in casual dining, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work well with a team. We are also looking for a Head Server, that can be responsible for overseeing service operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Train and mentor new servers on menu knowledge, service standards, and POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance sales.
- Oversee food handling practices to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring proper sanitation practices.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing labor costs effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of food service operations, including food preparation and handling.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sales skills with a focus on upselling menu items.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Previous experience as a server or host/host is required; culinary or kitchen experience is a plus.
