Data Engineer

• Position Overview

  We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with expertise in Tableau, data architecture, and analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing scalable data solutions, building efficient ETL pipelines, and delivering impactful data visualizations that support business decision-making. This role requires hands-on experience with data modeling, data warehousing, cloud technologies, and reporting platforms.

   

  Required Qualifications

  ·       Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

  ·       7–10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

  ·       Proven experience developing and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports.

  ·       Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  ·       Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

   

  Core Technical Skills

  ·       Extensive experience with Tableau for dashboard development, reporting, and data visualization.

  ·       Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience working with relational databases.

  ·       Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT processes and data integration solutions.

  ·       Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data architecture.

  ·       Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

  ·       Familiarity with big data technologies and modern data engineering practices.

   

  Preferred Skills

  ·       Programming experience using Python and/or Java.

  ·       Knowledge of machine learning concepts and supporting data pipelines.

  ·       Experience with NoSQL databases.

  ·       Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards.

  ·       Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

   

  Key Responsibilities

  ·       Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data architectures to support enterprise analytics and reporting.

  ·       Develop and optimize data workflows to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency.

  ·       Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.

  ·       Create and maintain Tableau dashboards and visualizations that deliver actionable business insights.

  ·       Implement data quality controls and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple data sources.

  ·       Support data modeling and data warehousing initiatives for analytical and operational reporting.

  ·       Monitor and troubleshoot data processes to ensure high availability and performance.

  ·       Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in data engineering and analytics.

  ·       Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and technical best practices.

   

  Nice-to-Have

  ·       Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.

  ·       Exposure to advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

  ·       Experience supporting cloud-based data platforms and modernization projects.

Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
