Phlebotomist

Job Description:

• We are looking for a skilled Phlebotomist to join the healthcare team of our client. The role involves drawing blood from patients for medical tests, donations, or research, ensuring proper specimen handling, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform venipunctures and skin punctures.
• Label and handle blood samples accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow safety protocols.
• Ensure patient comfort and verify information.

Required Education & Work Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 year's phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Minimum 1 year in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
