About the Role:
Are you passionate about coding and eager to inspire the next generation of tech-savvy innovators? Look no further! Join our dynamic team as a Coding Instructor for K-12 Summer Camp programs and embark on a rewarding journey of empowering young minds through the world of programming. Our summer program focuses on children ages 5-12 but we offer classes to everyone from Kindergarten to 12th Grade.
Summer camps are scheduled by week throughout the summer and include either a half-day or a full-day teaching option, followed by ongoing after-school classes in the fall and beyond if interested.

What You'll Do:
- Lead engaging and interactive coding and STEM classes in-person at our camp locations during the summer and local schools during the school year, primarily during after-school hours in the fall or winter sessions and camps style during the summer.
- Utilize our comprehensive curriculum (flexible for customization) to teach a variety of coding languages, from Scratch to Python or Java.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment for students, igniting their passion for technology.
- Foster strong relationships with fellow instructors and students, building a vibrant community of learners.

- Experiment PDX
- Trinity Episcopal
- French International School
- Garden Home Rec Center
- Marshall Community Center
- Sherwood Center for the Arts
- Portland Jewish Academy
- McLean House
- Fistenburg Community Center
Along with additional locations throughout the region.
