Role Description
This is a contract in-person role for a High School Computer Science Instructor. The instructor will be responsible for delivering engaging computer science courses to high school students, including coursework aligned with Arizona Computer Science Standards. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching programming and core computer science principles, and supporting students in completing projects across a variety of technical topics. Instructors will also evaluate student progress and provide feedback to ensure growth in technical skills and understanding. The role requires the instructor to be on-site 3 hours per week from 10:00AM - 11:00AM in Goodyear, Arizona. Travel time to/from work is compensated.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Computer Science, Programming, and related technical disciplines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively in school settings
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Education, Engineering, IT or a related field is preferred
- Must have transportation to/from our partner location in Goodyear, Arizona
