We’re hiring a Pigment Architect to build and scale a best-in-class business planning ecosystem at a high-growth, pre-IPO software company. This is a highly visible role responsible for architecting the core planning models that power strategic decision-making across the business.
You’ll serve as the technical owner of the Pigment platform, partnering with senior leaders to translate complex business challenges into scalable, high-performing models that support rapid growth.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Designing, building, and deploying multi-dimensional planning models in Pigment across long-range planning, annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, headcount planning, sales capacity, and quota and territory planning
- Acting as the primary Pigment subject matter expert, setting standards for model design, data architecture, and performance optimization
- Owning end-to-end data integrations between Pigment and core systems such as EPM, ERP, CRM, and HRIS to ensure automation and data integrity
- Managing the full development lifecycle from design and prototyping through UAT, deployment, and iteration
- Partnering directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate logic into model architecture, and deliver dashboards and insights
- Maintaining and scaling the planning platform as the company continues to grow rapidly
Qualifications
- 5 years of hands-on experience building complex models in an EPM platform such as Pigment or Anaplan
- Proven experience architecting FP&A and sales planning solutions from the ground up
- Strong technical expertise in data integrations, APIs, and ETL workflows
- Ability to translate complex business logic into scalable, maintainable model architecture
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with senior, non-technical stakeholders
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments with an owner’s mindset
Experience/Certifications
- Direct, hands-on Pigment modeling experience
- Certified Anaplan Solution Architect or Master Anaplanner
- Experience supporting enterprise SaaS, sales operations, or quota and territory planning
- Strong data skills including SQL or data visualization tools
